Democlap or a screen recorder
Loom or a manual capture leaves a frozen video, to be remade by hand after every production release.
Starter is €490 excl. VAT per month (30 maintained videos, 2 languages) and Pro is €990 excl. VAT per month (100 maintained videos, 5 languages); hosting is in the European Union, and if a flow breaks, nothing is published: the last good video stays online.

Why a recorded video goes stale
A recording captures the interface at one moment. With every production release a label, an icon or the order of the fields can change, and the help-center video keeps showing the old version. With ten tutorials that is manageable. With a hundred, nobody knows which ones are wrong, and the support team finds out from customer tickets.
What Democlap changes
A tutorial is not recorded: it is described by a readable script that is validated and versioned. On every production release the script is replayed in your demo environment, and the video is rebuilt with an animated cursor, zooms, voice-over, subtitles and your branding. The same script gives the same video. AI only writes the script; it invents no flow while recording.
The help-center link stops changing
Each tutorial has a permanent address and an embed code. They always show the latest published video, release after release. When a new video is waiting for a team member's approval, the old one stays online until then. You no longer replace a file by hand.
When a screen recorder is still the right choice
For a one-off video that will never be redone, such as an announcement, a team message or a webinar, a screen recorder is simpler and cheaper. Democlap is for product tutorials that must stay accurate at every production release.
Who it is for
Documentation, customer success and pre-sales teams at vertical software companies, 30 to 300 people: construction, healthcare, insurance, notaries, local government, SME ERP.

Frequently asked questions
Does a screen recorder update the tutorials in the help center?
Loom or a manual capture leaves a frozen video, to be remade by hand after every production release.
Do I have to re-record by hand with Democlap?
No. The script is replayed in the demo environment on every production release. You only fix the step that is flagged, not the whole video.
What do I need to get started?
A demo environment of your software reachable at a web address, and an account to sign in to it. You then describe the flow in plain words and Democlap writes the script.
Who is this not for?
You want a one-off clickable demo, or to clone the whole product.
